Your plan may also be subject to:

• A waiting period, which requires you to hold your policy for a certain amount of time before you are eligible for certain benefits.
• A deductible, or an amount that you must pay out of pocket before your insurance pays for anything.
• An annual maximum, a yearly limit on the amount that MetLife will pay for approved services within a standard calendar year.

We are in-network with MetLife, which means we have a contract with them that manages fees. This may allow you to get more value out of your annual maximum than if you visited an out-of-network provider. Plus, in some cases, we are able to schedule major services between two calendar years; this can enable you to use two annual maximums instead of only one.
